Mohamed Samy Hosny
Samy has worked in the HiTech Industry for more than 30 years, founding two companies along the way. In 2003 he founded SiliconPro, a Silicon IP and service provider and in 2013 he spun out Maple Microsystems, which provided outage management systems for utility companies. He has a BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alexandria and MASc. from the University of Waterloo with several patents and publications in the areas of Silicon design and power outage management.
He is passionate about the environment and clean energy. In 2025, he converted his own gas powered car into electric, achieving an impressive range of 170Km and top speed of 120Km/hr.
